Recently, I found myself on a 'shoe kick', after getting hooked while searching for dressy shoes to wear to upcoming special events. I must have bought 10 different styles/brands -- then returned 8 of them!In my 20's and 30's, I could/would tolerate long days of foot pain in high heels because my main criteria back then was only that they looked good on me. At 51, however, my priorities have changed; I refuse to be uncomfortable for the sake of looking good for others.During my recent shoe shopping spree, I found myself growing frustrated because such a high percentage of the shoes I wanted/liked turned out to be so uncomfortable... And I don't mean after wearing them for hours; I had them off within 60 seconds of putting them on. So I was thrilled to finally find these comfy shoes -- which are also easy to walk in, thanks to the chunky heel.I believe it helps that the fabric is flexible (and soft, like suede). It's also a plus that the toe is rounded, instead of being stiff and pointy/narrow.I am confident I will be able to wear these beautiful shoes all day, while remaining pain-free.I normally wear an 8.5 to 9, and the 9 fits perfectly. :)I hope you find this review helpful.I used to be able to run in high heals, stilettos no less. But alas, those days have passed. Come to think of it back in the running in stilettos days, I would be hobbling by 6pm. These shoes, however, are a thicker higher heal and feel sturdy and comfortable. Not to much weight and pressure on the front of the foot and toes. I have an important wedding to attend in a few months and I would like to be able to wear high heels, so these are my training shoes. They are pretty, the color is neutral and versatile and they are comfortable enough to wear at work all day. Oh yes, the ankle strap is generous enough to fit varying ankle thicknessesThe shoes look very pretty, they fit well and are very comfortable. The material is well madeGood aesthetic but uncomfortable. They're cute and look exactly like the pic, heel height is good and they're decent quality. However they're stiff and pretty narrow. I don't normally have issues with shoes being too narrow but these ones were fine at the toes but uncomfortably snug across the ball of the foot. Also zero arch support. I wore them for about an hour for my sister's wedding and was happy to take them off.I wear heels 3/5 days of the work week, and by the end of the day, my feet are swollen and aching! My feet are sliding down in them! Or flopping out of them (the ones without ankle straps) BUT These shoes are freaking awesome! No sore spots! No aching toes! I walk comfortably! Without looking like a newborn horse. I wish I could buy them in more colors.I would not call this shoe “comfortable”. You don’t buy heels for comfort... If you want to wear heels for an extended period of time, there will be a degree of discomfort no matter where you look. These do cause temporary redness in a few spots after a few hours of wear, but I can wear them for 8 hours walking around at work and still want to wear them again. Many other shoes I’ve tried have made me want to toss them at the end of the day; some I can’t even wear for an hour. These are fine, and that’s what I was looking for! (Wearing stockings may help with the redness from rubbing)I walked around in them for 10 hours and have no complaints. Bought a different pair of this same brand and they are just as GREAT! Will definitely be buying from them again.I bought these for a work event and spent the day on my feet in these shoes. My feet didn't start aching until the evening. I would reccomend.
