Update: increasing from 2 to 4 stars. After airing out for a few days the smell has reduced though it is not completely gone. May be gone in another week or two but maybe not, and I shouldn't have to air something out for weeks before it is usable. They could have just sent it not vacuum sealedSmells very strongly of chemical smell. Makes me concerned about what fabric actually is or what they treated it with before sending. Person who it was supposed to be a gift for may not be able to use since the smell is so strong. Otherwise, it is soft but snags incredibly easily.
